About

My way to blogging was a rather long and eventful journey. When I was younger, I always looked for alternative ways to do things. Do things better, quicker, easier. But one thing I was always sure that when I grow up, I’d do anything but to work in a boring, monotone job executing the orders of others just to pay my bills.

So I always looked for “alternative” ways to make money. When I was 12, I wanted to invent strategies to beat various sport betting and lottery games. I almost succeeded :D
Then I got older and discovered the internet. I tried almost everything to make money from affiliate programs through paid surveys to online poker and casino games. Contrary to the popular belief these things do work. But you have to put in the time and effort, learn the necessary skills, and do it on a daily basis.

That was the time when I meet the first blog I ever saw. I was lucky, because the site was stevepavlina.com. I’ve been into personal development before, but this was the time when I began to be engaged in it seriously. And I learned a lot, including that you can earn money easily without harnessing others. I made some money on poker and affiliate programs before, but I never felt good about it, because I promoted products I knew nothing about and took the money from other players who were half as skilled as me. And I don’t like easy games anyway :)

But blogging always fascinated me. Getting paid while helping others for free was my dream-job. Making money with clear conscience is not a bad thing after all :D
And it also seemed like a real challenge. So I started reading and studying other blogs, and I’ve learnt quite a lot. In theory. Putting it into practise will be an interesting task.

When I won a free domain name at michaelaulia.com, I knew the time has come. So I set up this blog on 13th September, my date of birth, as a little gift to myself.

I believe I’ve got everything to accomplish my goal and really make a decent living from this blog, or I’ll learn what’s missing along the way. I won’t give up, so I can’t fail :). Fortunately the blogosphere is a very kind and supportive community, and there are already a few people who helped me a lot so far. I hope I can return the favor to all of you and help everyone else too, which is the main goal of this blog after all.

I love everything that’s unordinary, and I have so many hobbies and interests that I can’t afford to work 8 hours a day and miss those wonderful opportunities that I could’ve experienced.
Stay with me and I hope you’ll learn a lot from my successes and failures, and I also hope you’ll get inspired by my successes enough to not be afraid to live your passion and follow your dreams.
